About luxury tours
Our luxury Egypt tours are private trips for travellers who want a slower week or more. The nine itineraries run from 7 to 14 days, each with your own Egyptologist guide and a private car. Eight of them include a Nile cruise, and the ship is always in the Deluxe or Ultra Deluxe category.
The pace is the point of this style. The trips use domestic flights between the cities and leave time for the ship and for rest. The 7 day Cairo and Nile trip, for example, keeps one major site per half day in Cairo. Two trips include a hot-air balloon flight over Luxor, two include Abu Simbel, and two add the Red Sea.
These trips suit couples and small groups who prefer comfort and a steady pace. They do not suit anyone who wants the lowest price: the Budget Egypt Tours page is built for that. A Nile ship sails on fixed weekly days, so the start dates follow the ship.

The Nile ship is Deluxe or Ultra Deluxe, the transport is private, and domestic flights replace long road or train transfers.

Some luxury trips already include a hot-air balloon flight over Luxor: the 7 day Luxor trip and the 14 day complete program. Flights depend on the weather on the morning.
