How a booking and a payment work
Every trip starts with an enquiry. You send the plan form or a WhatsApp message, and we reply with a written quote for your dates, travellers and trip. When you accept the quote, we ask for the deposit. Your booking is confirmed when we receive the deposit and send you a written confirmation.
Prices and currency
All prices are in US dollars (USD). Prices are per person unless your quote says otherwise. A Nile cruise price is per person for two people sharing a cabin, and a single cabin has its own price. Children pay as set out in our children policy. A published price can change until your booking is confirmed in writing, and the price in your confirmed quote is the price you pay.
Deposit and balance
- The deposit is 30 percent of the total price.
- When your trip starts from 18 December to 5 January (Christmas and New Year), the deposit is 50 percent.
- The balance is due 15 days before your arrival.
- If you book less than 15 days before arrival, we ask for the full amount to confirm the booking.
Your quote shows the exact amounts and the dates they are due.
How to pay
Payment instructions are sent with your written quote. Please pay only after you have read the quote, and keep your receipt. Tell us if a payment has not arrived within the days your bank normally takes, and we will check it with you.
Fees and refunds
If you cancel, the cancellation charge depends on how many days are left before your arrival and on whether your dates fall in the peak period. The schedule is in our cancellation policy. Refunds are paid back to the payment method you used, and a bank and payment fee of 6 percent is deducted from every refund.
