Sunrise balloon
A balloon flight over the Theban West Bank
Fourteen days from Cairo to the Red Sea: a Luxor balloon flight, 4 nights on a top-category Nile ship, Abu Simbel and two nights at Marsa Alam.
From, per person$1,3256 or more travellers · 3-star hotels

This is the longest luxury program and the only one that fits every part of the country we sell: Cairo, Luxor, the Nile sailing, Aswan, Abu Simbel and the Red Sea. The pace stays slow. Cairo, Luxor and Aswan each have two or three nights on land, and the ship sails Luxor to Aswan in 4 nights on fixed weekly days.
Abu Simbel is reached by a short flight from Aswan, and the Red Sea stay is at Marsa Alam, a long way south of Hurghada, with a national park and coral reefs on its coast.
It suits travellers who want a long holiday and have the days to spare. It does not suit anyone who dislikes moving hotels: you change base four times, and the transfer from Aswan to Marsa Alam is a full travel day with two flights.

Afternoon. Swimming and snorkelling are possible. Nobody can promise a wildlife sighting. Lunch is not included, and the driver brings you back to the hotel afterwards. Dinner is not included.
