Twelve days: Cairo, Aswan and Luxor, one night back in Cairo, then four nights at Sharm El Sheikh with a day at Ras Mohammed National Park.
From, per person$1,4406 or more travellers · 3-star hotels

This is the longest family package we offer. Seven nights are spent on the Nile cities by road and flight, and four on the Sinai coast.
Cairo is the connecting point between the Nile cities and Sharm. The night there is deliberately quiet and gives the children a break between the two halves.
It suits families with school-age children who want the temples and a proper beach week. It does not suit anyone who wants a short trip, or a family that would rather avoid several hotel changes.

Arrival. The guide meets you inside the terminal, helps you through the arrivals hall and leads you to a private air-conditioned vehicle. The vehicle takes the family and the luggage to the hotel in Cairo, and you check in.
Take the evening to rest. Nothing is scheduled and no meals are included today. The guide can suggest a simple place near the hotel if the children are hungry, and will tell you at the hotel when the next day begins.
Morning. Your guide and the private vehicle collect you at the hotel and drive to the Giza plateau, with entrance fees and bottled water covered. The visit begins with the pyramids of Khufu, Khafre and Menkaure, and the guide explains who built them. A short camel ride follows for the children. The Sphinx lies on the east side of the complex.
Afternoon. By noon the family returns to the hotel to rest and keep out of the midday sun. Breakfast is the only meal included today, so lunch and dinner are your choice, with the guide's help in finding places the children will eat at.
Morning. After breakfast and check-out, the vehicle takes you to the Grand Egyptian Museum. The entrance fee is included, and the guide leads the visit through the Tutankhamun galleries and the large statues, keeping the route short for the children.
Afternoon. After lunch you fly to Aswan. Lunch is not included, and the guide helps you choose a place beforehand. A guide and a private vehicle meet you at Aswan airport and take you and the luggage to the hotel for check-in. Dinner is not included either. In the evening you can eat at a quiet restaurant near the hotel, which the guide suggests.
Morning. The guide and the private vehicle take you to Philae. It was dedicated to Isis and now stands on Agilkia Island, and the guide shows the children the carvings and tells them the story of the move. The entrance fee is included.
Afternoon. After a rest at the hotel, the family sails on a felucca in the late afternoon. Nobody swims: the CDC advises avoiding contact with fresh water in Egypt. Breakfast is the only meal included today, so lunch and dinner are your choice, and the guide helps you pick places.
Morning. After breakfast you check out, and the private air-conditioned vehicle leaves Aswan with your guide. The road to Luxor runs about 220 km. You stop at Kom Ombo, where the temple has two sanctuaries, and the guide explains why. Entrance fees are included.
Afternoon. At Edfu the Temple of Horus has a large open court, and the children can walk across it. Both stops are short. Lunch is not included, and the guide helps you find a place on the way. In Luxor you check in at the hotel. Dinner is not included, and the guide suggests where to go.
Morning. The vehicle and your guide take you across to the West Bank. In the Valley of the Kings the guide picks a few tombs for the family, and the standard entrance fee is included. The extra-ticket tombs (Tutankhamun, Seti I and Ramesses VI) are optional and not included.
Afternoon. Hatshepsut's temple follows, with the guide explaining the carvings and the setting. Then the family has a break at the hotel. Breakfast is the only meal included today. Lunch and dinner are your choice, and the guide helps you choose places the children will eat at.
Morning. The morning is Karnak. The vehicle takes you there after breakfast and check-out, with the entrance fee included, and the guide walks the children through the site.
Afternoon. The vehicle then takes you to Luxor airport for the flight to Cairo, which takes about 1 hour and is part of the program. A guide and a private vehicle meet you in Cairo, and the luggage goes with you to the hotel. In Cairo you spend the evening at the hotel. Morning. After breakfast and check-out, the private vehicle takes you to Cairo airport. The flight from Cairo to Sharm El Sheikh is a short domestic one and is part of the program.
Afternoon. Sharm sits at the southern tip of the Sinai peninsula. A vehicle meets you at the airport and takes you to the hotel, where you check in. The afternoon is for the beach. Sunscreen and a hat for each child help: the CDC advises SPF 15 or higher, and TravelHealthPro advises SPF 30 or higher for children. Lunch and dinner are not included today.
Morning. The excursion to Ras Mohammed National Park is included in the program. The park is about 12 km from Sharm and covers 480 km2, of which 345 km2 is sea. Your guide and the private vehicle take you there after breakfast.
Afternoon. More than 220 coral species have been recorded in the park. Green and hawksbill turtles are reported there, but we cannot promise to see one. Conditions on the water decide whether children swim, and the guide checks them with the family. The vehicle brings you back to the hotel. Lunch and dinner are not included, and the guide helps you choose places.
Morning. Naama Bay is the central area of Sharm, with hotels and restaurants. The family spends the morning on a walk with the guide, who shows you where to find simple places to eat.
Afternoon. The afternoon is in the water, at the hotel beach or the pool. Breakfast is included; lunch and dinner are not, and the guide helps you pick places. The private vehicle is available if you want to go back to Naama Bay later, and the guide helps you keep the day light for the children.
All day. This is the only free day. Nothing is planned, and the hotel stays your base. Breakfast is included; lunch and dinner are not.
The guide is on call if you decide to book something small, and the private vehicle can be arranged. Otherwise the day is for the beach and the pool. It is also a good moment to pack, because tomorrow the vehicle collects you for the airport. The guide is happy to answer questions about the transfer and the check-out time.
Departure. Breakfast at the hotel is the only meal included today. After check-out, your private vehicle takes you and the luggage to Sharm El Sheikh airport for your flight. The pick-up time is set by your flight.
This is the last day of the program and there is no sightseeing. The 11 hotel nights, the bottled water and the services of the guide and the vehicle end at the airport. Flights home are not part of the package, so keep your own flight details with you and tell the guide the departure time the day before.
