From, per person$1,3456 or more travellers · 3-star hotels

This package moves quickly through the Nile cities and then stops. Cairo, Aswan and Luxor take two nights each. The last three nights are in Hurghada, where nothing is scheduled except one boat day.
The drive from Luxor to Hurghada takes 4 to 5 hours. It crosses the desert, so you arrive at the coast with the sightseeing finished.
It suits families who want the main sites and a beach at the end. The first week is a lot of packing for children, so if you want fewer moves, ask about our 9-day Red Sea package instead.

Arrival. A guide meets you in the arrivals hall, helps you through the airport and takes you to a private air-conditioned vehicle. The vehicle drives the family and the luggage to the hotel, where you check in.
You have a free evening before the first sightseeing day. No meals are included today. If the children are hungry, the guide can suggest a simple place near the hotel and will tell you when the next morning starts.
Morning. Your guide and the private vehicle collect you at the hotel. The morning is at the Giza pyramids and the Sphinx, with entrance fees and bottled water covered and a camel ride for the children.
Afternoon. After lunch and a rest at the hotel, you drive the short distance to the Grand Egyptian Museum, which lies about 2 km from the pyramids. The entrance fee is included. The Grand Staircase and the Tutankhamun galleries are the main route, and the guide keeps it short for the children. Lunch and dinner are not included; the guide helps you choose places to eat.
Morning. After breakfast and check-out, the vehicle takes you to Cairo airport. The flight to Aswan is a short domestic one and is part of the program. A guide and a private vehicle meet you at Aswan airport and take you and the luggage to the hotel, where you check in.
Afternoon. A felucca sail around Elephantine Island is the first visit, while the sun is going down. Dinner is at a place near the water, which the guide helps you choose. Lunch and dinner are not included today.
Morning. The Unfinished Obelisk lies in an east-bank quarry and was meant to be about 41.7 m tall. Your guide and the private vehicle take you there first, and the guide explains the obelisk to the children. The entrance fee is included. Philae follows, a Temple of Isis rebuilt on Agilkia Island.
Afternoon. The Nubian Museum is optional and is an indoor stop for the early afternoon, out of the sun. The vehicle then returns you to the hotel. Breakfast is the only meal included today, so lunch and dinner are your choice, with the guide's help.
Morning. After breakfast you check out, and the private air-conditioned vehicle leaves Aswan with your guide and the luggage. The road from Aswan to Luxor runs about 220 km. Kom Ombo and Edfu are the two stops, each short, and the guide explains each temple. Entrance fees are included.
Afternoon. The journey takes most of the day, so the evening in Luxor is empty. You check in at the hotel and the children can rest. Bottled water is in the vehicle. Lunch and dinner are not included today, and the guide helps you choose places the children will eat at.
Morning. The Valley of the Kings, with its tombs of New Kingdom rulers, comes first. Your guide and the vehicle take you across to the West Bank, and the standard entrance fee is included. The extra-ticket tombs (Tutankhamun, Seti I and Ramesses VI) are not. Hatshepsut's temple is the second stop.
Afternoon. In the late afternoon the family goes to Luxor Temple, where an avenue about 2,700 m long once joined it to Karnak. The guide explains the avenue and the temple. Breakfast is included; lunch and dinner are not, and the guide helps you choose places.
Morning. Karnak's hypostyle hall has 134 columns, and the guide gives the children a few minutes to walk between them. The entrance fee is included. After the visit you return to the hotel and check out.
Afternoon. After lunch the vehicle leaves for Hurghada. Expect 4 to 5 hours on the road. It is a private air-conditioned vehicle with bottled water on board, and the luggage travels with you. You check in at the hotel in Hurghada. Lunch and dinner are not included, and the guide helps you choose places.
Morning. After breakfast the boat leaves for the Giftun islands off the coast. The boat trip is included in the program. Children can swim from the boat, as conditions allow. We cannot promise any fish or turtle sightings.
Afternoon. TravelHealthPro advises a wide-brimmed hat, sunglasses and sunscreen of SPF 30 or more, reapplied after swimming, so bring them in the day bag. The boat returns and the vehicle takes you back to the hotel. Lunch and dinner are not included, and the guide helps you choose places the children will eat at.
Morning. In the morning the family visits the Hurghada Grand Aquarium. Your guide and the private vehicle take you there after breakfast, and the entrance fee is included. The aquarium is an indoor stop, which helps if the sun is strong, and the guide stays with the family and explains what the children see.
Afternoon. The rest of the day is on the beach or by the hotel pool. Nothing else is planned. Breakfast is the only meal included today. Lunch and dinner are your choice, and the guide helps you pick somewhere the children will eat at.
Departure. Breakfast at the hotel is the only meal included today. After check-out, your driver takes you and the luggage to Hurghada airport in a private air-conditioned vehicle for your flight. The pick-up time is set by your flight.
There is no sightseeing on this day, and the morning stays free for a last swim or for packing. The 9 hotel nights, the guide and the vehicle end with this transfer. Flights home are not part of the package, so keep your flight details with you.
