Giza & camel ride
Giza pyramids and a camel ride
Ten days with a four-night Nile cruise from Luxor to Aswan, three nights in Cairo before it and a day trip to Abu Simbel after it.
From, per person$1,1906 or more travellers · 3-star hotels

This is the longer cruise option for families. You spend three nights in Cairo, fly to Luxor and sail south for four nights. The ship reaches Aswan on day 8, and Abu Simbel is a separate day from Aswan by road.
Four nights on the water give the children time to get used to the ship. Temple stops are short and the rest of each day is on board.
Abu Simbel is the demanding day. The temples are far south of Aswan, so it is a long day for young children. The trip suits families with children who can handle one such day. It does not suit a family that wants to avoid long drives.

Morning. Coptic Cairo has the Hanging Church, the Church of Saints Sergius and Bacchus and the Ben Ezra Synagogue within a short walk of each other. Your guide and the vehicle take you there after breakfast, and the guide leads you between the three. The Coptic Museum opened in 1910. Entrance fees are included.
