Balloon flight
A hot-air balloon flight on Day 2
A river honeymoon with no Cairo: a balloon flight from Luxor, 4 nights on the Nile to Aswan, a felucca and a last night ashore. Private guide.
From, per person$7006 or more travellers · 3-star hotels

This week skips Cairo and spends almost all its time on the river. You start with a hotel night in Luxor, fly a balloon on the first morning, then board a Deluxe or Ultra Deluxe ship for the 4-night sailing to Aswan. The ship sails on fixed weekly days, so the dates follow the ship.
The temples come one at a time: Luxor's West Bank, Karnak, Edfu, Kom Ombo and Philae. A felucca takes you out at Aswan, and the last night is in a hotel there.
It suits couples who have already seen the pyramids or plan to add Cairo before or after. It does not suit anyone who wants the Grand Egyptian Museum: Cairo is not in this week. Day 2 starts before dawn for the balloon.
