Giza, Saqqara & Museum
The Giza plateau, Saqqara and the Grand Egyptian Museum
Fourteen nights across Cairo, Alexandria, Aswan, Luxor and the Red Sea, with a flight to Abu Simbel and a 3-night cruise.
From, per person$1,6206 or more travellers · 3-star hotels

This is the longest plan we run and it covers every region on the classic list. It runs south to north: Cairo and Alexandria first, a flight to Aswan, then the Nile going north to Luxor, and last the Red Sea coast at Hurghada.
Aswan has three nights, enough to see Philae and the High Dam on their own day and to fly out to Abu Simbel on the next. The cruise is 3 nights, in the Aswan to Luxor direction, and the ship sails on fixed weekly days. From Luxor you drive to Hurghada for three beach nights.
It suits travellers who want everything in one trip and can handle four flights and two long drives. It does not suit anyone who dislikes moving hotel every two or three nights.

Starting in Aswan and sailing to Luxor is the 3-night cruise direction, and it keeps Hurghada, a drive of 4 to 5 hours from Luxor, at the end.
The road is about 300 km each way, in a convoy that leaves in the early hours. We use the short flight to keep the day short.
