Giza, Saqqara & Memphis
Each given its own block of the day
Three nights in Cairo, two in Alexandria, a night in Luxor, then 4 nights on the Nile to Aswan and a last hotel night there.
From, per person$1,3506 or more travellers · 3-star hotels

Twelve days give every part of the route its own room. Cairo has three nights, so Giza, Saqqara and the museum are not squeezed together. Alexandria has two, so you get a full day in the city and not just a lunch stop.
The cruise starts only on day 7, after a hotel night in Luxor that lets you see the east bank at an easy pace. It then sails south for 4 nights, and the ship sails on fixed weekly days. A night in an Aswan hotel after you leave the ship ends the Nile section.
The plan suits travellers with two weeks of leave who prefer to stay put for a couple of nights at each stop. It does not suit those who want Abu Simbel in the programme: we leave it out here, and you can ask for it as an extra day.

With its Tutankhamun galleries
