Giza pyramids
And the Sphinx
Pyramids in the morning of day 1, a one-hour flight to Luxor on day 2, the West Bank on day 3. Three days, one flight.
From, per person$5056 or more travellers · 3-star hotels

This break gives you both ends of Egypt in the fewest steps: the pyramids, then Luxor. The flight is about an hour, so Luxor starts before lunch on day 2.
Luxor is covered in two days: east bank on day 2, west bank on day 3. You skip the Nile cruise, Aswan and everything else in Cairo.
It suits travellers who have a long weekend and know the two places they most want. It does not suit anyone who dislikes early flights or packing.

Arrival. Your guide meets you at the airport and the private air-conditioned vehicle takes you to the pyramids. Sightseeing starts straight after landing.
Giza. The Great Pyramid is the largest of the three, while Khafre's looks taller because it stands on higher ground. Your Egyptologist guide explains the differences as you walk, and then takes you to the Sphinx on the east side. Entrance fees for the Giza sites are included, and bottled water is part of the package. This is your only Cairo day, since the flight south takes the second day.
Evening. You drive to your hotel in Cairo and check in for the night. Dinner is not included, and the guide can suggest where to eat.
Morning. After breakfast you check out and take the domestic flight from Cairo to Luxor, about an hour long. The flight is included. In Luxor your guide and a private vehicle take you to Karnak, where the Great Hypostyle Hall has 134 columns in 16 rows.
Afternoon. Lunch is not included, and the guide helps you choose a place. Luxor Temple comes later in the day. A processional avenue of about 2,700 m once joined it to Karnak, and your guide explains how the two temples were linked. Entrance fees for both are included.
Evening. You check in at your hotel in Luxor for the night. Dinner is not included.
Morning. After breakfast you check out with your luggage in the vehicle and cross to the West Bank. The Valley of the Kings comes first. Tutankhamun's tomb is the one with a separate ticket, and it is not included. Next are Hatshepsut's temple at Deir al-Bahari and the Colossi of Memnon, with the guide explaining each as you reach it.
Afternoon. Lunch is not included, and the guide helps you choose a place. After lunch the vehicle takes you to Luxor airport at the time your flight needs.
Departure. Your flight home is not part of the package, since it depends on where you are going.
