Your Sacred Lotus Dahabiya Cruise begins in the historic city of Luxor. Once you board the Dahabiya, you will be greeted by the friendly crew and given a tour of your comfortable cabin. After settling in, the boat will set sail, offering you the first glimpse of the majestic Nile.
Visit Luxor Temple: Before you depart, visit the Luxor Temple, one of Egypt’s most iconic and well-preserved temples. Dedicated to the gods Amun, Mut, and Khonsu, it is an incredible example of ancient Egyptian architecture.
Sail Towards the West Bank: After the temple visit, enjoy the tranquility of sailing down the Nile towards the West Bank, where more hidden treasures await.

Edfu Temple: Begin your day with a visit to the Temple of Horus at Edfu. One of the best-preserved temples in Egypt, Edfu Temple is dedicated to the god Horus. Marvel at the grand columns, intricate carvings, and majestic pylons that reflect the ancient Egyptian devotion to their gods.

Sacred Lotus Dahabiya Facilities
Sacred Lotus Dahabeya is a Nile cruise sailing boat that provides Accommodation aboard consisting of 8 double cabins and two suites with a private terrace. The beautifully appointed cabins and suites offer the charm of a bygone era. The boat is air-conditioned (cold–heat) throughout and each cabin and suite has an en-suite bathroom.
8 Luxury Cabins – Great views, inside and out
Each one of the eight cabins is roomy at 3.5 X 3.5 square meters. Individually decorated with local antiques, every cabin has two large antique beds dressed up with fine Egyptian cotton. Two large windows which offer views of ancient sites, riverside villages, and breathtaking scenery. Each of the air-conditioned cabins has a well-equipped bathroom with a bath, shower, toilet, and a beautifully tiled floor.
The professional staff replace the towel and linens every day and prepare tasty foods ( your special food request is welcome).
2 Terrace Suite – Sleeping beauty & a private balcony
Sacred Lotus Dahabiya is fitted with one spacious suite with a private terrace. Located at the back of the boat, the terrace offers incredible views of the Nile. It’s a lovely spot to relax and unwind after sightseeing ashore. The suite has a large antique double bed and is charmingly furnished with regional fabrics and furniture. Its private bathroom has a bath, shower, and toilet.

Day 1: Friday
When you arrive in Aswan, either at the airport or at the train station, your tour manager will be there to meet you and help you. After that, your Egyptologist guide will take you on a fun day trip around Aswan.
During this tour, you'll get to see the Philae Temple, the High Dam, and the Aswan Bazaar, where you can enjoy a stroll. After that, you'll be taken to your Dahabiya Nile Boat, where you can eat lunch while floating down the Nile. Have a great trip as you go to Kom Ombo. After you get to Kom Ombo, you should spend the night there.

Day 2: Saturday
Breakfast at your leisure. The next place we're going to check out is the Greco-Roman Temple at Kom Ombo. The temple has two entrances, two halls, and two sanctuaries. One is for the god Haroeris, also known as Horus the Elder, and the other is for the god Sobek (the Crocodile). As we started our trip, our trip to the temple of Gebel el Silsila, which is another of our less-visited places, started off in a calm and enjoyable way.
When we finally get close to the Speos of Hormheb, you're going to be shocked. If at all possible, dinner will be served on the lit-up temple grounds or on the top deck. During their meal, guests will be able to take in the peaceful atmosphere and listen to music that was chosen to fit the setting.

Day 3: Sunday
After a leisurely breakfast, you'll take a horse-drawn carriage to the Edfu Temple, which is one of Egypt's most important monuments and also one of the best kept. On either side of the door are two beautiful granite statues of the god Horus as the Falcon. After your tour of the temple is over, you're welcome to walk or ride a bike around the market. This is a big market where you can haggle for souvenirs, tastes, and smells.
After that, we'll throw away our lines and set sail for an island. Once we get there, we'll get off the boat and either has dinner on the Sun Deck or near the Nile, depending on the weather. We are about to have a fun evening with a theme based on ancient Egypt. There will be traditional Egyptian food and music from the Middle East. Put on a gallabeyah made just for you or a costume made for belly dancing. We had a calm sail to Esna, and when we got there, we decided to spend the night there.

Day 4: Monday
After breakfast, you'll get off your Nile boat at Esna. You'll then be taken to Luxor for a tour that includes the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Hatshepsut, the Colossi of Memnon, and the Temple of Karnak. In Luxor, you will also eat lunch. In the evening, you will be taken to either the airport or the train station in Luxor so you can get ready to leave.

Day 1: Monday
When you arrive in Luxor, either at the airport or at the train station, a tour manager will be there to meet you and help you with any arrangements you need. After that, you'll go on a tour of Luxor with an Egyptologist. You'll see the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Hatshepsut, the Memnon Colossi, and the Karnak Temple. The Karnak Temple is another place the group will visit. Then, you'll be taken from Luxor to Esna to get on your Nile Boat. You'll spend the night at Esna while your boat is floating down the Nile.
Meals: Lunch, Dinner.
Day 2: Tuesday
Start sailing toward Edfu while you take your time eating breakfast. You should be there by noon at the latest. Take a horse-drawn carriage to the Edfu Temple, which is one of Egypt's famous sites. The Edfu Temple stands out because it is one of the largest and most complete archaeological sites in the country. On either side of the entrance are two beautiful granite statues of the Egyptian god Horus as the falcon. After your tour of the temple is over, you're welcome to walk or ride a bike around the market. This is a big market where you can haggle for souvenirs, tastes, and smells. After lunch, which will be served on the boat, we'll keep sailing toward the Silsela Hormoheb Temple until we get there. Dinner will be served on the Temple grounds, on an island, or on the top deck of the boat, where guests can enjoy the peaceful atmosphere while listening to music that fits the setting.

Day 3: Wednesday
After having breakfast at your own pace in the morning, you will sail to the Greco-Roman Temple at Kom Ombo, where you will spend most of the day. You can sail to Aswan in comfort while watching and listening to water buffalo move through the shallow water. You will also see donkeys going about their daily business on the banks of the Nile, along with the many different kinds of birds that live there. Spend the night in a place that is close to the gates that lead into Aswan city.

Day 4: Thursday
After breakfast on board, you'll get off the boat to see the High Dam and the Philae Temple. After that, you'll have some time on your own to look around the Aswan Bazaar. At the end of the day, you will get off the boat. It's time to go back to the boat so you can spend the night in Aswan and have a great evening there.

Day 5: Friday
After breakfast, you will get off the ship and be taken to either the Aswan airport or the Aswan train station, depending on where your last flight is.
