The Karnak Temples in Luxor were built to honor the god Amon, his wife Mut, and their son Khonsu. Your Guide will take you there. Find out more about the building project at Karnak that started 4,000 years ago and lasted until the Romans took over Egypt 2,000 years ago. Then Amunhotep III built Luxor Temple during the 18th Dynasty of the New Kingdom, and Ramses II finished the temple during the 19th Dynasty. During this trip, you will learn more about the most famous pharaoh of the 19th Dynasty, King Ramses II, who ruled Egypt for about 67 years. When you're done seeing these interesting places, our Guide will take you back to your hotel in Luxor.
