Our representative will pick you up at the cruise ship exit door in Alexandria Port. Then, you'll be taken to El Alamein in an air-conditioned car for an all-day trip.
El Alamein
About 110 kilometers from Alexandria. Go to war sites and cemeteries from World War II ( WW II Cemetery). The Battle of El Alamein was one of the most important events of this War. Your first stop on the Alexandria shore excursion will be the Military Museum, which has displays of weapons, uniforms, and tanks.
There are also descriptions of what Montgomery, Rommel, and the other people who fought in the battle did. Visit the World War II Cemeteries, which are west of town on a small peninsula with a view of the sea. Soldiers from the Commonwealth, Greece, Italy, and Germany are buried in cemeteries that look like forts.
Take a break for lunch, and then drive back to Alexandria to get on the ship.
