Next, head to Hatshepsut Temple, dedicated to the only female pharaoh of Egypt. This architectural marvel, nestled against the cliffs of Deir el-Bahari, is both impressive and historically significant. Later, stop by the Colossi of Memnon for a photo opportunity with these towering statues.

On the fourth day, explore Karnak Temple, one of Egypt’s most spectacular temple complexes. The Hypostyle Hall with its massive columns is a highlight. Afterward, visit Luxor Temple, a beautifully preserved structure, especially when lit up at night.

Abu Simbel Temples

Abu Simbel is the famous complex of two temples carved in the rock, one dedicated to Ramses II and the other to Nefertari, his first wife, and his favorite. The construction took about 20 years and was built during the reign of Ramses II. The temples are in an excellent state of preservation, as they were buried under the sand until the 19th century.

The most remarkable thing about this temple is its location on a solid rock on the banks of the Nile, between the first and second waterfalls. Impressive as Abu Simbel, perhaps he would not have been famous had it not been for his move to the Aswan Dam Building.

Our guided tour will take two hours, enough time to discover every corner of both temples and learn all their stories and tales, such as why they were kept in a pristine condition, how they moved from place to place, and what Egypt did in return for it. International aid.
