Your journey begins in Cairo, the bustling capital of Egypt and home to some of the most famous ancient wonders in the world. After arriving, head straight to the Pyramids of Giza, including the Great Pyramid of Khufu, Khafre’s Pyramid, and the iconic Sphinx. This UNESCO World Heritage site is a must-see and offers the chance to learn about Egypt’s ancient civilization.
Later, visit the Egyptian Museum to explore thousands of artifacts, including the treasures of Tutankhamun. If time permits, wander through Khan El Khalili Bazaar, one of the oldest markets in the Middle East, where you can shop for traditional souvenirs.

On day two, explore more of Cairo’s historical and cultural landmarks. Visit Saladin Citadel, where you can see the Mohammed Ali Mosque. This impressive mosque offers a panoramic view of the city and is a great place for photos. Then, head to Al-Azhar Mosque and explore Islamic Cairo, full of historical buildings, narrow streets, and bustling markets.
In the afternoon, visit The Egyptian Textile Museum to learn about Egypt’s rich textile history or enjoy a scenic cruise along the Nile River. A Nile dinner cruise is also a great way to experience the city’s nightlife.
Travel Tip for Cairo:
After two full days in Cairo, take a short flight to Sharm El Sheikh, a resort town located on the Sinai Peninsula along the Red Sea coast. Known for its luxurious resorts and vibrant coral reefs, Sharm El Sheikh is a perfect destination for both relaxation and adventure.
On the first day, relax on the beaches of Naama Bay, where you can enjoy the sun, sea, and sand. For a more active day, take a snorkeling or diving tour to explore the stunning underwater world of the Ras Mohammed National Park, home to vibrant coral reefs and diverse marine life.
Day 4 is perfect for a desert safari. Experience the dramatic desert landscapes in a 4×4 jeep, enjoy camel rides, and visit traditional Bedouin villages. For those seeking an adrenaline rush, try quad biking in the desert.

On the fifth day, head to Tiran Island, a paradise for snorkelers and divers, accessible via boat trips from Sharm El Sheikh. Day six is free for you to either relax or engage in more adventures. Alternatively, for more action, try parasailing, kite surfing, or go for a hike up Mount Sinai to watch a breathtaking sunrise, one of Egypt’s most spiritual and scenic experiences.

On your final day, enjoy a relaxing morning in Sharm El Sheikh, perhaps with a last stroll along Naama Bay or a final dip in the Red Sea before heading to the airport for your flight home.

Giza Pyramids
The Pyramids of Giza are the only one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World still preserved today, and therefore one of the most famous buildings in the world. The three major pyramids of Giza include the Pyramid of Khufu, the Pyramid of Khafre, and the Pyramid of Mycrinus.
Queen Pyramids
Some other smaller secondary pyramids, where for example, the women of the pharaohs were buried, as well as labor villages, temples, and tombs.
Great Sphinx statue in Giza
The Great Sphinx of Giza is a giant Egyptian statue. It was carved from the limestone of the Giza plateau and represented a recumbent lion with a human head and the so-called veil of a name. Initially, the Sphinx was painted red ocher and had a chin beard, but this fell into antiquity.
Valley Temple
Next, go to see the valley temple used to cleanse the king's mummy before burial and to perform the king's embalming process.
Saqqara pyramid
We will move to Saqqara, a pyramidal complex that, like Giza, is part of the necropolis of Memphis. We will see one of the first pyramids built, which served as a model for all those made later.
The step pyramid of Djoser has a rectangular base and is about 60 meters high; and was part of a ceremonial complex built around 2650 BC for the pharaoh Djoser by Imhotep, the most famous Egyptian architect.

At the end of the visit to the Pyramids of Giza, we will take a break and take the opportunity to eat and recharge. Lunch will be in a restaurant and Egyptian food (drinks not included).
Ancient Memphis, Egypt
After Saqqara, we will make the last part of our journey. We will head to Memphis, the capital of the ancient empire between 3100 and 2040 BC and the site of the coronation of all the pharaohs of the kingdom.
According to tradition, Narmer founded the city of Memphis and is considered the first pharaoh. The city is located in the Nile Delta, between Upper Egypt and Lower Egypt, the two regions into which the country was divided.
In 1820, a colossal statue of one of the most famous pharaohs, Ramses II, who ruled from 1279 to 1213 BC, was found in the Great Temple of Ptah near Memphis. This pink granite statue is more than 11 meters high and weighs more than 80 tons. For a time, it was located in the center of Cairo, but erosion badly damaged it, and it was moved to Memphis, where it is displayed in a covered area for its protection.

The Egyptian Museum of Antiquities
Your trip will continue with a visit to the Egyptian Museum, where artifacts from the Pharaonic era are located. The museum displays a rare collection of 5,000 years of art, considered the most valuable collection of Egyptian art in the world. More than 25,000 artifacts are on display, including an exhibit dedicated to Tutankhamun's treasure, furniture, and jewelry, kept in his tomb for over 3,500 years before being discovered by Howard Carter in 1922.
Babylon Castle
The date of the foundation of the Babylon castle is unknown, although it is known that it existed a hundred years before Christ.
The castle walls, reinforced by Roman emperors, are 3 meters thick, and the towers are 10 meters high and 31 meters in diameter.
Hanging Church
The Hanging Church is the most famous in the Coptic Quarter. It is known as the Hanging Church because it is built on one of the doors of the Roman castle, and the wooden dome of the Church is in the form of Noah's Ark, as described in the Old Testament.
Abu Serja Church
It is the oldest Church in Egypt. It was built in the 5th century over the cave, where it is believed that the Holy Family took refuge for several days. It is dedicated to Saints Sergius and Bacchus, whose remains are kept in this Church.
St. Barbara's Church
It is a church of great historical importance, originally dedicated to Saint Cyrus and Saint John. From the 13th century onwards, it was dedicated to Saint Barbara as her remains came to this Church. It houses some of the oldest and rarest icons of Coptic art.
Ben Ezra Synagogue
It was initially a church, but in the ninth century, it was sold to Abraham Ben Ezra, who gave it his name, for the money needed to pay the high taxes demanded by the Roman government.
Amr Ibn Al-Aas Mosque
Amr Ibn Al-Aas Mosque is the oldest mosque in the African continent. Its origins go back to the year 642 when the territory of Cairo occupied Fustat, the capital of Egypt that had recently been established at that time.

Khan El Khalili Bazaar
After visiting the Egyptian Museum see the beautiful Khan El Khalili, the famous Cairo primary market. It is always crowded with tourists and locals alike and is the beating heart of the Egyptian capital. Unleash yourself in the different markets where you will find everything and buy some excellent local handicrafts.
After that, you will be transferred to your hotel in Cairo.
In the morning, check out from the hotel in Cairo, there is a short domestic flight to Sharm El-Sheikh. After you arrive in Sharm El-Sheikh, your guide will wait for your transfer to your hotel.

(You can stay overnight at your hotel in Sharm El Sheikh and travel the following day to Cairo Airport just before your international flight).
